I mean, what is the Statute Of Limitations on this ?<br /><br />I guess babies can be required to be checked easily enough by Health Visitors but that is dependent on the mothers turning up for regular checks and immunisations.<br /><br />How do you propose we go about checking small girls for mutilation... strip inspections on induction at school and providing they don't attend Islamic institutions for their education ?<br /><br />I suppose it could be done somehow at doctors appointments but perhaps this is one of the reasons that females may not be alone with male doctors. I completely concur with the idea that we should no longer 'work with' alleged islamic community leaders, but should instead start nicking them. Sadly this is not a new problem and it has been said that 24k Islamic women in the UK have been genitally mutilated.
