Am I wrong in that she is a grandmother at the age of 37? What about the kid who started the whole thing. It's a bit surprising that it was there in the first place.

Thanks for the reply.

Things are not much better in the US (no laws against 'inciting racial hatred' though), where newspapers have been known to apologize for publishing the literal truth. They have removed it, also the claim that the murderer was already on bail and tagged (though other news sources are still reporting this).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-627081175329856970.post-12130112352556008052008-06-13T21:43:00.000+01:002008-06-13T21:43:00.000+01:00Where does the info that the suspect is black come...Where does the info that the suspect is black come from? The formatting in your post sort of suggests it is in the Daily Mail link, but I did not see it. Perhaps it was there before but has now been removed.

In my experience the BBC usually does not publish info about the ethnic identity of suspects unless it is practically unavoidable, e.g. if it has been widely published elsewhere or an obviously dangerously person is still at large.

I'm not English, but when people ask me if I've ever been to England I say 'No, but I've been to London several times'. Britain is really filling up with a lot of immigrant scum; in particular, you now have a serious black crime problem that you have largely imported. But I don't sense any political will to do anything about that, or even to discuss it in an open and honest way. In fact, rather absurdly so, the BNP is portrayed as the greater danger (not that some of them aren't kooks).

A bit sad really.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-627081175329856970.post-25715298072996484062008-06-13T18:16:00.000+01:002008-06-13T18:16:00.000+01:00Even for a really callous murder you only get w...Even for a really callous murder
you only get what, 15 years? The bullshit law calls that "life". Then the sods appeal against that! Well I hope it is life - like they get murdered in jail, although that would only be the vulnerable people that it normally happens to, not those with a violent pedigree at such young ages. Wankers (haha well literally for the next decade or so, I hope they were virgins too so they're gay by frustration by the time they get out and never breed).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-627081175329856970.post-75138795546111790962008-06-13T06:31:00.000+01:002008-06-13T06:31:00.000+01:00"The girlfriend deserves a slap herself for gettin..."The girlfriend deserves a slap herself for getting someone to fight her battles for her."

Even better - she's been charged with murder herself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-627081175329856970.post-77029556481239406542008-06-12T21:44:00.000+01:002008-06-12T21:44:00.000+01:00I walked into the shop just after this happened! I was annoyed at someone pushing past ME on the escalator - then I got to the top and noticed that he was a plain-clothes paramedic or something, and shut up. There was a lot of blood. I'm sick of the sheer ignorance I see every day in this area (although it's obviously widespread). People's cultures have to change. Respect is paramount. This really makes me ashamed on behalf of the people involved. The girlfriend deserves a slap herself for getting someone to fight her battles for her. She didn't deserve anyone to do anything for her if that's what she thinks is the way to behave, or she can't put her ego to one side and HAS to involve others... Not very brave I know but since I'm white, middle-class and male what's the betting that - after waking up in A&E - the first person in line to have his DNA and fingerprints taken would have been me: a lecture about "not taking the law into your own hands" and a warning that prosecution was being considered by the CPS would probably have followed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-627081175329856970.post-53257883134110881082008-06-12T10:04:00.000+01:002008-06-12T10:04:00.000+01:00Sadly, that's probably the case.
