Beg Pardon?

The bus seemingly crashed into the wall of Trident House, an apartment block next to Hayes & Harlington station.
There's no 'seemingly' about it, the photos show the bus embedded in the building. What do you think happened, given the bus is a movable item and the building isn't?
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: 'We were called at 7.02pm today (28 August) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a bus crashing into a building on Station Road, Hayes, UB3.

Only one of them was in the road to start with, I think you’ll find…

The Met police have been contacted for comment.

And probably said ‘Oh no, not again!’

  1. I would say that the bus bumped into the building rather than crashed. Given that everything is moving at a snails pace it's hard to fathom what happened to cause the problem.

    1. I suspect the problem was in the drivers seat!

  2. Interesting footage. Looks like someone holding a phone, rather than CCTV. If so, somebody stands on a balcony filming roundabouts all day, for some reason

  3. What a dreadful road layout! But if the bus needed to go all the way round, why did it not enter the roundabout much further over to the left coming in, to give space to swing round to the right.

  4. Large bus not clearing a small roundabout. Trainee bus driver? Why would that black car stop at that junction to that roundabout? Sudden acceleration of his suggests second sentence, though why would there be video footage of that particular incident, suggesting it was pre-planned or staged.
However, not living in Sad Dick Khan'ts paradise, not really bothered which.
