In London - apparently the capital of the ostensibly English-speaking UK - Bengali <a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10059523/Too-much-Bengali-spoken-in-council-meetings-visitors-complain.html" rel="nofollow">is the language of choice</a> in Tower Hamlets Council.
