The body needs a vast range of inputs and has a complicated set of kit etc. to deal with it. What has happened in her time is that there has been a transformation of eating habits and products as well as people eating rather more than they used to. Much of the stuff in the media at present is too simplified and too often special pleading. Also, too much of the science is too limited in its scope. Time for lunch.
