However, the act is a tradition based on health reasons. FGM, on the other hand, is a barbaric act designed solely to deny women the possibility of pleasure in sex. I think this is based on the male Muslim viewpoint that if the woman is incapable of enjoying sex, she can't then complain to her friends that her husband/husband's cousin or brother is shit at sex (just look at ISIS - Islamic Sexual Inadequacy Syndrome, which explains why they are so angry).
The fact that FGM also causes infection and sometimes death as well as making childbirth extremely painful and dangerous, doesn't enter the heads of those who follow a cult which decries homosexuality, yet allows the buggery of small boys, as well as sex with goats, lambs and sheep.
It's a shame that every politician in this country who doesn't find FGM a problem, has to have their female children undergo it. I bet it would soon stop.
PenseivatAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-627081175329856970.post-32647416195280713312018-08-27T12:05:42.815+01:002018-08-27T12:05:42.815+01:00I await similar calls for the cessation of male ge...I await similar calls for the cessation of male genital mutilation from the Jewish and Muslim sectors.

I shalln't be holding my breath however..PJHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11331948749785269728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-627081175329856970.post-45826147987900660052018-08-27T11:05:08.914+01:002018-08-27T11:05:08.914+01:00"...if they go against FGM then they will hav..."...if they go against FGM then they will have to deal with years of pain & trauma..."

If 98% have had FGM & the physical pain and trauma already, this presumably refers to being snubbed in the street.

This is a cowardly excuse for inaction, by the very social groups and victims who are best-placed to prevent another generation being mutilated as they were, and is how such medieval practices are perpetuated.Ed Pnoreply@blogger.com
