And, of course, it's racist but since black people can't be racist - this pile of verbose excrement tells you why - it must be something else, something positive, something we can all sign up to: ah yes "positive discrimination". Not at all:..."so the MET will be racist"

Not at all: this is not, of course, "racism" since the beneficiaries are not white, it's positive discrimination.

From my (very) limited knowledge of how the police promotion system works, anyone who is sufficiently motivated to do so will not find the academic hurdles placed in the way of promotion (eg quizzes on law, box ticking tests, etc etc) insuperable. But I fear that it's just these tests - simple though they appear to outsiders - that result in "discrimination" against those who are incapable of passing them and yet wish to be promoted nevertheless.Umbongonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-627081175329856970.post-19482389322952374792010-07-08T13:19:27.436+01:002010-07-08T13:19:27.436+01:00"fast-tracking minority police community supp..."fast-tracking minority police community support officers"

...so the MET will be racist?DerekPnoreply@blogger.com
