Touring the shop floor, he was surprised to see that the machinery didn't have guard barriers around it.<br /><br />As my friend was involved in health & safety at the UK site, he asked the shift manager "What is there to stop one of your employees putting their hand inside that machinery while it's moving?"<br /><br />The manager replied "There isn't a need for that kind of preventative measure.
