The point about the Westminster Cathedral piazza area is that it attracts significant numbers of aggressive derelicts, who sit around all day drinking White Lightning or whatever, barracking passers-by and occasionally getting up to intimidate or harass a passing tourist, young women in particular.

The fragrant Ms Chuckabutty might care to comment on the infringement of ordinary people's human rights to go about their business without such interference.
How about Westminster Cathedral's rights to give away soup from their property should they so desire?

If they deal with the consequences Edwin mentions, then fine. But I can't see them doing it...
If the dregs of the underclass want free soup, I'm happy to go to the square and help. The handouts by the Left might be banned, but it's very easy for me to hang around with a placard saying "Want food? Get a f---ing job like the rest of us you leeching scum".
