So, It Does Happen, Just Across The Border...

Police in Glasgow have launched an appeal for help after a man jumped out of bushes in one of Glasgow's busiest parks and shot a man in broad daylight yesterday.

The 20-year-old victim was walking his Jack Russell dog in the area of Queens Park that overlooks Victoria Road at around 1pm yesterday when his assailant emerged from bushed and shot him with an air rifle.
So far, so ordinary for Britain in 2011.

But this isn't:
A Strathclyde Police spokesman said the suspect is described as an Asian male in his mid 20's and of thin build. He was wearing a black polo shirt and black three-quarter length trousers....`It is believed that the suspect shouted some verbal abuse at the injured man prior to discharging the weapon and as such police are treating this incident as racially motivated.'

    I wonder if the verbal abuse was more along the lines of 'you Jock git' in which case RACIST

    Rather than 'Take that whitey' which as everyone knows is not racist.

    During the last decade, the Glaswegian kiss evolved so quickly that it would be entirely premature to rule out, say, Sunni versus Shiite.

    Naturally, the possibility that some other shiite was involved cannot be ruled out at this stage.

    Of course not, he's *obviously* still traumatised from the Highland Clearances (what, did you think the Serbs invented 'ethic cleansing'?!). Probably some 'reparations' would help.

    Although personally I'm going to have fun with the fact that the ONLY people who can NOT be 'racially assaulted' are White Brits.

    There was a precedent recently... a 'nazi' salute made to a German was classed as a racist attack (despite German not being a 'race' but a nationality).

    So next time some Ploppy Clad Poppet decides to mouth off at us in the supermarket because the wife and I are speaking German in public I'm going to sue their ignorant racist arses off.

    Such a traumatic experience can only be cured with lots of lovely money and legal aid :)

    Shame that they don't treat verbal abuse towards white girls by asians in West Yorkshire as racial abuse and take so long to get around to investigating that the video tapes have been erased.
