Actually, I commented somewhere else on my confusion with Mr. Balls. He is indeed a 60-to-the-minute blinker, but in a recent interview I noticed that his slightly bulbous eyes were 'blinkless' - very alarming! I wondered at the time if his PR people had advised him and then super-glued his lids open. Anyway, the end result, if you will forgive a slightly crude old Army saying, was that his eyes stuck out like a terrier's bollocks!
Just one?

Yeah, but only Ed 'Blinky' Balls has that particular habit. God knows what the rest's 'tells' are.

ReplyDeleteOh, oops! Freudian slip there, I think...

ReplyDelete"...his eyes stuck out like a terrier's bollocks!"
ReplyDeleteLol!
Actually, thinking back to the 1980s, it was the "Max Headroom" character who joked:
ReplyDelete"How can you tell when a politician is lying?"
"His lips move"
