The Nutter On The Bus…..

…..was always my favourite Jasper Carrott stand-up piece. But the real thing didn’t prove quite so funny for one unfortunate Canadian:
The gruesome crime occurred on Wednesday night aboard a bus travelling from Edmonton, Alberta, to Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said in a statement.

Garnet Caton, a passenger, said the victim was stabbed 40 or 50 times by the man sitting next to him. The killer then severed the man's head with a large knife and held it up by the door for others to see.
Gulp!
Stockwell Day, the Canadian public safety minister, called it an "horrific" incident, but did not discuss details of the attack, saying he did not want to jeopardise the investigation.

"We want to make sure that the process is followed as aggressively as possible, a full legal process, and the perpetrator is definitely dealt with the full force of the law," Mr Day said, adding that the incident was bizarre and extremely rare.
I’d hope so, or 'ticket collector on Canadian public transport' might prove to be a hard-to-fill job opportunity…
