Expectations are way too high on Obama. Obviously he's had plenty of time to plan what's he is going to do over the next few weeks, but I cannot believe that he can click his fingers and solve the Middle East problems or global economic crisis.
Mind you, that doesn't stop Gordon Brown trying to cuddle up next to him.
Ah, I see that the name of Robert Fisk is invoked in that second article.
You know, I might not have achieved much in life, but at least my surname won't be used by generations to come as part of a synonym for "dissecting complete bullshit, one paragraph at a time".
Way to go, Robert, but I wouldn't want to achieve immortality that way.
Too busy having fun was he? What a waste of his first 24 hours, come on President Obama, there's a world to save!
ReplyDeleteHe's under so much scrutiny - the honeymoon is bound to end much faster than normal.
ReplyDeleteThat said, in his defence he did pass his first Presidential Motion yesterday.
D

Has The Indy ushered in a new era measured in "Days After Obama"!?!
