And I, For One, Welcome Our New Cycle-Riding Overlords….

It seems we have a new Supreme Ruler of the United Kingdom:
Mr Faure Walker spoke out against the building of new coal-fired power stations and the expansion of Heathrow airport.

"People have to realise that they can't live their lives the way that they have become accustomed to," he said.

"We can't fly short-haul whenever we want."
We can’t…?

Oh , well, if you say so. I mean, who better to tell us all what to do with our money and free time than a 27 year old teacher from North London? Hell, I wasn’t doing anything with this freedom, anyway…

    How come these idiots (and the other idiots demonstrating in Parliament Square - rather than in Colombo - against the Sri Lanka government) can get away with no discernable reaction from the Met while this woman is prosecuted?
