Mr Wright’s letter reminded parents about the school’s jewellery ban and also advised them to look on the internet for more information about the bracelets.
Yeah, because the Internet is full of reliable information...
School days are the happiest days of your life. My 5th form would have been happier if ther were coloured bands to sort the 'Ayes' from the 'Noes' BTS, She is wearing a pink, a green and a purple. I will be 'up' all night thinking about it.
Let me get this right young girls are not only wearing clothes more suited to a strip club than an academic setting, much like most of the women in my office then. They view any material they choose on the interweb and chat with anyone who will listen. It's common place for intimate photos and video to be taken and shared of young girls by themselves and each other. And now specific pieces of female oriented clothing accessories have been developed and used to signify sexual acts that have been experienced. This sounds like a paedophiles paradise. I also wonder who the parents blame when in the case only that only minors are involved, one of these darlings has a bad experience? The children or themselves? Does anyone know or care what their children are doing from one moment to the next? Can anyone tell me what use a child has with mobile porn manufacturing and distribution equipment and the uniform and costumes to be identified by ? Where does all this paraphernalia come from? Is there a factory with children in manufacturing said items for other children, sold by children to children using an underground currency thus avoiding taxes? When I were a lad, it was a big deal to buy a single smoke from a well known corner shop and share it. Today it seems to be cool you have to have done anal with six blokes and had 20,000 hits on your v.log where your discussing the next production location. It seems the only threat to children is not paedophiles or each other but the incompetence and carelessness of parents.
For someone who realises they are a paedophile and has not done anything about it the way children and parents treat themselves and each other must be like asking an alcoholic to live in a brewery. WOAR recently blamed the whole paedophilia thing on the paedophiles. I disagree, while logic dictates that if there were no paedophiles then there would be no paedophilia it also stands to reason that people whatever their problem is have choices often persuaded by those around them and the way they act. I abused alcohol for a few months, the cure, stop drinking and steer clear of people who wanted to, problem solved.
All paedophiles incapable of making the right choice must be caught, locked up and given the tools to make the right choice. Feeling like I want to rip some tosser’s head off does not make me a murderer.
WOAR recently blamed the whole paedophilia thing on the paedophiles.
I blame burglars for burglaries as well. As you say, there is a choice and if you choose to do the wrong thing, you carry the can for it - not the victim, and not some vague cloud of 'everybody else'.
....
If anybody hasn't already clicked Pavlov's Cat's link, do treat yourself. That Cracked article is hilarious, but it's also important because right at no.1 it cites the likely source for the Satanic Panic, which fetched up here in the late 1980s.
Many thanks then - I've not come across this piece of the jigsaw. There was a gap and I thought there would be something in it, but I didn't have a likely source for the story. I do now.
The difference between a burgler and a paedophile is.... a burglar has to have stolen something to be a burglar a paedophile may be a paedophile and never have had sex with a child. WOAR your wrong admit it. Criminalisation of people is exactly what the government want people like you to get behind. We all have our challenges, but I guess as your sooooooooo perfect you would never know. Parents should be made to be responsible for their children, if support is needed to help them be responsible fine but those that have children without the ability of means to support them should not see the support as a right. Any parents that are unwilling or incapable of being responsible for their children should have them removed sooner rather than later. To liken a thief to the problem of paedophilia is not only wrong but particularly stupid.
So while kids a posting explicit pictures of themselves on the interweb, wearing completely inapropriate clothes and shagbands bought by thier parents. Willingly taking part in sexual activities with each other and adults that thier parents have no idea about. Does anyone see a problem other than the choice that faces a pedophile every day of thier life?
When are people going to start admitting that the sexualisation of children is not only done by paedophiles? Even if paedophilia did not exist as a human condition for some sad and sick people and regardless of weather humans were always willing and/or able to always control their more uncivilised urges the sexualisation of children is an abuse that is overlooked like so many abuses of children by their supposed carers. You can hardly blame the children because until an child becomes an adult it is little more than an animal itself. You can dress a dog up in coat and boots it doesn't make it human. You know what, there not my kids, so fuck it, you think it's some paedophiles fault that they walk around with shagbands on at primary school and video each others bits to post in the interweb while chatting to anyone they care to completely unsupervised go ahead just don't come crying to me when your kids grow up to be, well, big kids.
We all have our challenges, but I guess as your sooooooooo perfect you would never know.
I'm absolutely clear on the following:
1) Sex offenders are responsible for their behaviour and cannot blame the victim, society, a bad day at work etc.
2) Burglars (and MPs and Attorney Generals while we are here) are responsible for their behaviour and cannot blame the victim, society, or assert a sense of entitlement which disapplies the law in their own cases.
3) Recovering alcoholics have to grasp that their behaviour is their own and is the choice they make.
Does anyone see a problem other than the choice that faces a pedophile every day of thier life?
This conflates three strands of public debate. The first is the rightly-challenged sexualization of childhood. Of particular concern is exactly where the lines between childhood and adult hood are drawn. These are by no means standard.
A second strand is the perceived threat from other adults and how far this is real, imaginary or manipulated for political reasons. It's important to try to get a handle on this because there undoubtedly is some level of threat, but whether we are dealing with the right one, are becoming hysterical about the perceived scale of it, or are going about it all the wrong way, could mean we end up spending vast sums on systems which don't protect anybody and in fact make things worse.
The third strand is simpler. Sex offending is wrong and the behaviour is down to the sex offender. The sexualization of childhood cannot be used to excuse it, although the common tongue often asserts that somehow it 'explains' sex offending. No it doesn't. If it did, then what would have to be explained is why the overwhelming majority of people look at a child and don't think it is a sexual object at all.
Having read the story again, I note that there are no references to children taking inappropriate photos of themselves. The more lurid assertions about clothes, websites etc are entirely in your comments. Here, the head teacher reminded the parents of the no-jewellery rule and warned them of the tasteless symbolism believed to be in this catchpenny item, although that might be a load of old nonsense when you finally check it. Some people will say anything to sell an elastic band for 99p. The story is about a tasteless marketing ploy (if it exists). It makes no claims whatsoever about sexual activity with children.
looks like she's been takin it up the shitter since she was 12
Most people would not have immediately associated that photo with a violent sexual attack against a minor. BTS' comment implied consenting adult intercourse. Interesting, your choice of reference.
Read my words more carefully, I have never excused sex offences of any sort by the behaviour of the victim and also agree that a sex offenders behaviour is their own. The sexualisation of children is most often committed by their parents not paedophiles unless of course their parents are in fact paedophiles. Children who are victims of sexual offences be it by other children or adults are not to blame and I never said that. I simply pointed out that parents today a generally crap and tend to blame the woes of their children on anything but the most obvious cause, themselves. WOAR, either you are a victim or you cannot read. Victims, because they are often presented with the wrong focus for the crime that has affected them begin to believe that there are boggymen where they do not exist. So WOAR if you have children do you let them wear shagbracelets?
What do children do in your perfect world? Because in the world I read about there a children raping, fucking and murdering other children. Parents telling their children its OK to dress up like a whore and young boys that to be successful you have to be violent. Facebook is full apparently, although I have not looked, of kids either pretending to or actually doing things that you and I would probably consider assault regardless of age.
This of course is all because of paedophiles. It has come to a point where I can't mention the word paedophile without fearing been accused of being one or pointing out that the reason children are abused is generally down to their parents without some righteous parent, usually a crap one, telling me how hard it is being a parent. You had it, you be responsible for it.
The most obvious solution to pedophilia is surgicaly remove the appertus. Why then does our society seem hell bent on causing vengfull suffering and adding fuel to the fire.

And, I believe, Marietta Higgs is still practicing. Boggles the mind, doesn't it?
Read the article WOAR. Do what the head in this story suggests and look at what your innocent plastic tubing signifies. Again if you tolerate this then your children will be next
Yep right up there with #5 Rainbow Parties

ReplyDeleteIf you say so. Interesting focus.
One band is for eating live earthworms, the other for having been abducted by aliens, the last is worn by members of the Bilderberg group.
It is just a bit of plastic tubing. That's all. It signfies nothing. It is all in your imagination and nowhere else.
