”In these shoes? I doubt you’d survive…”

A reveller is critically ill in hospital after being stabbed through the eye with a stiletto heel.

The shoe is believed to have pierced Gavin Taylor's eye, passed through his eye socket and touched his brain.

His girlfriend Staci Hargreaves, 33, is accused of attacking the 28-year-old in the back of a taxi after a night out in Huddersfield.
Ahhh, love's young dream turns sour.

But why so harsh? Surely this was a horrible thing to happen to anyone, something no-one deserves?

Not exactly:
Five years ago, Taylor was jailed for 16 months for his part in the drowning of a loner 'for a joke' who was terrified of water.

Father of three Chris Mattison, 42, had been dangled over the freezing River Thame and then left to drown when the line holding him broke
Karma’s a real bitch sometimes, eh..?

  2. 16 months (8 months served probably) for murder - although I suppose that this was prosecuted as "affray" or possibly something really serious like "obstructing the highway".

    Actually it was false imprisonment.

If she dumped him out of the taxi, maybe flytipping legislation would come into force?
