...and typos frequent for the next few weeks as I've broken a bone in my upper arm and have only one typing hand as a result!

  5. Sorry to hear that, time to try out some voice recognition software?

Anyway on the plus side you should be minted once you get the compensation.

  8. OUCH!

I suppose that's what you get from doing naked cartwheels in front of obotheclown (personally I'd be too afraid to attempt it).

  9. Ouch indeed! Take it easy, in the meantime I think everyone deserves a cookie for resisting the urge to make some ghastly pun about one handed typing.... oops.

  14. Cheers all!

Sadly, the patch of pavement I tripped on wasn't cracked, just wet, so no compensayshun claim for me!

Luckily I had a few posts already keyed up (god bless delayed posting options). I'd certainly be unable to do anything quite so long one-handed.

The A&E trip was, umm, interesting, to say the least. About three hours all told, not bad for an early Friday.

And the wait was enlivened considerablly by watching the staff try to sort out losing a patient. Not as in dead, but rather as in 'She's booked in on the computer system, but she's not here, and the relatives are asking questions!'

Turned out the computer booking was wrong, and she was in another part of the hospital...

Julia, I am ashamed of you for admiting that, surely you know from your trawls through the MSM that there is no such thing as an 'accident' any more. there must always be someone else to blame,

I'd get on to 'Screw The Council Tax Payers 4U' I'm sure they can help point the finger of blame.
