Sounds like another 'police in reckless pursuit' story, doesn't it?
Well....
The drama happened after a police motorbike saw four youths - who have a history of burglary, violence and robbery - acting suspiciously in the Honda Civic around 9pm on Monday.Thirty seconds. That's barely enough time to read that headline.
The vehicle's lights were switched off and none of the occupants was wearing seat belts.
When he enquired what they were doing, the car sped off.
Thirty seconds later the Honda collided with parked vehicles in Fauconberg Road, a quiet suburban street in Chiswick.
Some 'chase', eh? Nice one, 'Daily Fail'....
Not wishing to sound heartless but, erm, one of them died? Good. That's one less.
ReplyDeleteExactly what I was going to say MW
ReplyDelete"Sounds like another police in reckless pursuit story, doesn't it?"
ReplyDeleteNo - but most men know at least one confused woman who knows the full story from a headline.

ReplyDeleteEvolution in action.
LEts hope the NDS gives the survivors it's best dose of MRSA care.

ReplyDeleteMy god, you're right. We should ban cars. And we should dig up Karl Benz's skeleton, decry it a s a racist, a paedophile, and a big meanie, and them smash it to dust.

ReplyDeleteI only had a couple of Triumphs, the odd Honda (VERY odd), a couple of BMWs, and one basket case Harley.
NONE of them werte clever enough to SEE anything, no matter HOW hard I kicked them.
So when DID they start producing motorbikes with eyes?
I think Orange County Choppers should be told!
Darwin strikes again!

ReplyDeleteI can't claim to be shedding tears here, either...
"AND IF THOSE CARS WERNT PARKED THERE HED STILL BE ALIVE!!"
Heh! I'll be surprised if that isn't mentioned - unironically - somewhere in some online forum...
"Darwin strikes again!"
Only if he hasn't already reproduced. Who knows, these days?
Darwin is like Catholic priests. You have to catch them young for it to work.
ReplyDeleteNot quite funny enough for a Darwin award nomination
