‘Rather Rare’ Replaces ‘Thankfully Rare’….

Raedwald makes a predition about the weekend shooting in Plaistow:
”The two young gang members shot yesterday in East London, one fatally, are just two more casualties of the gang culture in London and even now will be remembered on 'Facebook' by fellow gun-toting gang members as 'soljers'…”
And right on cue…
Floral tributes, including seven bunches of white roses, were laid at the foot of the police ¬cordon taping off the scene in Plaistow. One read: “To Sammy, one of the realist young bucks. Gone but never forgotten. 100% love. Liam.”
We do, however, note one new wrinkle – to that ubiquitous phrase so recently beloved of all police spokescreatures:
Detective Chief Inspector John Mackenzie said: “They knocked up a house where the occupants provided some shelter as Good Samaritans. In there unfortunately one of the youths died.”

He added: “Shooting incidents are still rather rare in London. We are working with the community and asking them to help us.”
How long before they drop the ‘rare’ altogether..?

  3. Or how about...

Q: What would you call this shooting?

    A: A good start.

  4. Zap!

Recently I enjoyed an episode of 'The Invaders' where an alien zapped a human with a ray gun...instant incineration leaving no trace.

How I wish I could have one of those this Christmas - clean up the streets in no time - eh?

  5. No! You're all wrong imo, with all respect. This is what the damnable authorities want. Don't be fooled. These idiot youths are churned out of State schools in the full knowledge by the so-called elite that they're bloody useless and dangerous. They are incapable of critical thinking, shallow and oafish, and understand only violence. It's the same as forcing your child to tidy his room by releasing a box of rats into it, and telling him they spontaneously generate in the clutter. Problem, reaction, solution. Something must be done! What'll it be? What will be done to all of us with this type of deliberately-engineered "collapse of society" as an excuse?
And remember, you "them and-us" ones, those boys were made like that by the elite, to whom we're all "them" no matter who we hate.

  6. The other day at the college where I teach, I stopped two boys who were 'messing about' and one of them tried to head-butt his mate. Apparently they are the best of friends, but they are typical of the teenagers I encounter every day. Indeed they are oafish and illiterate (a book is something you pick up to hit someone with) and have no ability to think, critically or otherwise. But their whole reason for living is filled with ideas of violence.

Hitting and maybe killing someone is their idea of relationships. Another child (he was 17 but a long way from adulthood) at this college told me his ambition in life was to get a girl pregnant so he gets a free house from the council and he'd then push her down the stairs so she loses the baby.

    Simples, innit?

Their reaction to each other is to threaten to stick a knife in them or kick their head in. And these are their mates, remember. This defines their world. These young men (and some of the young women I teach, too) react to things with a threat first, but equally regard their misguided 'bruvvers' as worthy of praise no matter what they do.

So give them firearms and they can be a person to be really feared. Until they end up asa target...

    Shame, innit.

  7. I stand up to be shamefully counted amongst the many righteous who gave more than a decade of support to finding a solution to this madness, irrespective of the resource burden.

You can only throw so much National money at a problem with absolutely no return. And you can only do so much hand wringing over old issues.

Patience is exhausted and one temptation is to abandon the disease to a self cure. That would be a dangerous and foolhardy option. Trident has been a failure and Hobson's choice dictates the immediate implementation of stern military counter measures.

    You're right...and you're wrong.

Its not just a colour blind matter of poor schooling. Certain other factors are at least as important.

The victim, Samuel Adelagun. That not a British name, not a European name. He's nothing to do with us. Everywhere people like Samuel Adelagun live in proximity with white folks the result is the same. Focusing on schooling is a liberal waste of time.

He and the rest were brought here to divide and rule. You cant just pop up and pretend the divide and rule ex post facto. Thats the whole point of mass non-white immigration.

  9. I think Anon above has had one to many coffees personally.

There are problems with immigration in this country, and this is something acknowledged from all quarters - but to suggest it's specifically "non-white immigration" is bizarre.

The poorest areas are often immigrant areas; poverty and crime areas often go hand in hand. The colour of the skin of the people doing this is not the cause.

Come on - you're honestly going to commnent on this blog that Urban Black Culture has got nothing to do with gang and gun violence - pull the other one, it plays jingle bells...

It may be a prudent time to venture into the export market now that you are now generating sufficient nonsense on your own blog.

  12. You cannot replace half of London with people from the Third World and then act surprised that half of London behaves like they are living in the Third World with all its baggage.

  13. OT1H, "as long as they're just shooting each other, I'm not too fussed" but OTOH, Richard may have a point. The government is either massively stupid or they have engineered this deliberately.

  14. I don't think the Government is stupid, and I do think that the process by which human beings go through their childhood learning nothing - nothing! - of reason and ethics is entirely deliberate. Why? Someone who thinks critically is harder to control. These imported third world thugs appears to be the problem, but - who brought them here? Who doesn't enforce law and order? Who takes our money and gives it to these fools? Who stops an Englishman defending his person, or even opening his trap at speaker's corner? Who actually IS the problem? Is it someone who throws a wasp's nest at a picnic, or the wasps? Get a free council house, says a lout to Bullet-headed? Well, there's an incentive to do fuck all, except kill an unborn child. These blacks and Muslims're a handy "other" to keep our minds off the destruction of our nation, which is to my mind a deliberate ploy to weaken any possible resistance to the growth of the EU superstate. And an excuse to implement tyrannical laws. Didn't Londoners withstand the impact of thousands of V1 and V2 weapons during the war, not to mention the mighty Luftwaffe? And now we're meant to scream at our own shadows over a few exploding buses and black boys with pistols? Total crap. At the end of the day, though, a life has been lost; the waste of human minds as these "soljas" are stamped out by the State as travesties of Man, is by far worse, and deeply saddening.

  15. It would be foolish to think that the current generations could resemble in any way the people there during the blitz. They had been hardened by the depression and believed in familes .
Nowadays you cannot even get rid of the people who mis govern you properly.

  16. "I hope they all kill each other and let everyone else live in peace!"

Ah, if only it were that simple! But innocents are often caught in the crossfire.

"How I wish I could have one of those this Christmas - clean up the streets in no time - eh?"

'Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets.'

    ;)

"Don't be fooled. These idiot youths are churned out of State schools in the full knowledge by the so-called elite that they're bloody useless and dangerous. "

Because it rarely - if ever - touches them...

    "Shame, innit."

That our society has come to this? Oh, indeed.

  17. "Trident has been a failure..."

Trident seems to be more reactive than proactive. So it's hard to see why you class it as a 'failure, MTG?

"There are problems with immigration in this country, and this is something acknowledged from all quarters - but to suggest it's specifically "non-white immigration" is bizarre."

It's certainly true that each 'community' has its bad boys, whether they be ethnic minority or European communities.

"...Urban Black Culture has got nothing to do with gang and gun violence - pull the other one, it plays jingle bells..."

He's got a point there. Don't a lot of UK black and Pakistani (I refuse to use the term 'Asian') urban street gangs model themselves on the US type?

"Didn't Londoners withstand the impact of thousands of V1 and V2 weapons during the war, not to mention the mighty Luftwaffe? And now we're meant to scream at our own shadows over a few exploding buses and black boys with pistols?"

Good point, but anon at 01:22 has an equally good one. Are we that fearless, independent, bloody-minded generation any more?

  18. "Are we that fearless, independent, bloody-minded generation any more?"
No, but perhaps there's still good steel under the rust. Look at it this way - if the political class wasn't afraid of us, none of this Big Brother crap and social engineering would be happening. When enough of us say NO all this will stop. Look how quickly the Soviet Union evaporated.
