No More MONA?

A man has been stabbed to death and three seriously injured after a street fight outside a house party.

Four people were taken to hospital with stab wounds following the clash between the two groups of people from Middle Eastern origin.
Oh. That’s new.
Chief Supt Chris Hogben said: …'We also have specialist officers working within the community to reduce these tensions.'
Hmmm, wonder just what that means…

  1. You wonder what it means? In light of recent events, it probably harks back to the old hippy maxim "Make love, not war."

  2. Yes, well. In that sort of community, unlike the recent outpourings over the eco-infiltrators, getting stoned has a whole different meaning.

  3. MONA = men of no appearance; they who must not be described

  4. It's completely wrong the way the Caucasians are renaming themselves with Muslim names, then going to commit violence.

  5. What community would that be then ? The Methodist community ? The Buddhist community maybe ? No ? Perhaps the Seventh Day Adventist community then ?. I think we should be told.

  6. I hope the officer's meaning is that they will take them to the nick and help them to fall down the stairs on the way to the cells.

  7. Given where this brawl occurred, there must be a strong possibility that the 'clash' was a continuation of the skirmishes which frequently took place across the channel in & around Sangatte.

Of course across the channel, these guys often had to live rough, but here they get their own flats and pocket money, which they then use to throw 'house parties' which sometimes 'get out of hand' (copyright the ACPO guide to PC news management).

  8. MONA indeed, but some of the troublemakers (old-fashioned term, not much used these days) are often also MMA

MMA = Men of Military Age

  9. 'Twas in nearby Dover ten years or so back that Afghan youth ran amok through a fun-fair, stabbing any locals unfortunate enough to be near them. The police and local hospital refused to give figures for the number of wounded, or who they were, in the interests of 'community cohesion'.

  10. Deport the bastards .. every last one of them .. If they're fit enough to party & fit enough to engage in punch-ups .. they're fit enough to be working ..

And if they're not working, they should be got rid of .. we have native-born dole scum to support, without importing 'em .. don't you know ..

  11. An earlier news report said they were all Afghans.
An earlier news report did not say that they were illegals, but I bet that....

    Heh!

"Given where this brawl occurred, there must be a strong possibility that the 'clash' was a continuation of the skirmishes which frequently took place across the channel in & around Sangatte."

    Interesting...

What's changed, I wonder? Certainly not the new government...

"An earlier news report did not say that they were illegals, but I bet that...."

I'm sure we'll find out more when (if?) they come to court.

The fact, that in this case, BOTH groups are wogs?

It is to be encouraged. Saves us having to teach them a lesson they will not forget.

  15. Although we locals are continually informed we are racist, have incredible faults and are barely civilised, the influx of so many furriners into our islands does allow us to see that so many of the world's other tribes just simply cannot get along with each other and how soon resort to any sort of violence.

While this report cannot for community cohesion reasons detail any participants, it would not surprise me if they were Afghan muslims rather than Afghan christians. Muslims are very quick to see off other muslims if they can.

  16. Laban links to a BBC article that I read in disbelief "...He tried to explain to local people that most asylum seekers tended to hang around in large groups, for example, simply because that was the norm in the gregarious cultures and warm climates from which they hailed.

“And in turn, induction sessions began with asylum-seekers to warn them that some behaviour - carrying knives, spitting, approaching women because of the way they were dressed, and even affectionately touching other people's children, could all be misinterpreted. "

In summary, the message to the people of Dover is:

‘if there is a sudden influx into your neigbourhood of people with a tendency to, say, hang around in large groups, spit, carry knives, approach women ‘because of the way they are dressed’ (I can’t imagine what that means) and affectionately touch your children, then remember: any unhappiness you feel at this situation is purely an indication of cultural insensitivity on your part.’

FFS. I’m beginning to wonder when this is all going to kick off.

Me too. Except, we don't seem to do those sorts of riots in this country...
