A teenager accused of murdering a 15-year-old boy at a rail station today admitted kicking him because "everyone else was doing it".Kids, eh..? Always got to follow the crowd…
"I kicked him," he added. "Everyone else was doing it. It was stupid, I don't know what to say."I can think of something…
To be fair, we were all a bit naughty as kids. Today’s vibrant and diverse communities are so enriched that they knife one another to death instead of scrumping apples.
ReplyDeleteAh scrumping - that brings back some memories - but to the point, presumably this eighteen year old felt he was demonstrating his manhood and garnering "respect" by, when "he saw punching and pushing and that he kicked Sofyen in the head as he fell down the stairs". Why was he even there - well "he had heard earlier on during the day about "badness after college" but had thought it meant a fist fight - and that "fights just happen all the time" - Later when trouble broke out at Victoria station he ran up to see what was happening because he was "curious about the fight".
ReplyDeleteFight ? Sounds like an organised mob assault. And of course, for matters of "face" he just had to join in and now he is "ashamed" - Of what, getting caught, going in the first place, for thinking that a bit of mob violence was "the usual way to round off a school day", kicking someone who was helpless in the head? What ?
STRING 'EM UP! NAIL "EM TO THE WALL! Make 'em dance The Tyburn Jig' by God I'd pay to see a line of these little gangster monkeys twitching their last in that macabre dance of death for all the public to enjoy. I really would.
ReplyDeleteI like the cut of Anonymous's jib!
ReplyDeleteBring back the stocks for lesser offences.
hunt them with hounds and set foxes on thier children before they have a chance to learn by example
ReplyDeleteseriously, train hunting dogs to identify chavs and set them loose in areas that need clearing out. collect all the foxes from the countryside and let them loose in chav filled estates.
ReplyDeletethis 'respect' thing cracks me up, respect for attacking someone from behind, who hasn't asked for it or joining in when someone has been redered defensless?!? what kind of gang hands out respect to cowards?
"Today’s vibrant and diverse communities are so enriched that they knife one another to death instead of scrumping apples."
ReplyDeleteI guess that's 'progress'...
"Fight ? Sounds like an organised mob assault."
I'm assuming he's being tried under the joint enterprise laws, since it seems they have no direct evidence he's (or maybe anyone's) solely responsible?
"hunt them with hounds..."
'Outdoor chess, Mr Worthington?'
