Not A Conventional Child Protection Issue, Obviously…

A sex offender was spared a prison sentence for grooming an underage girl after a judge decided he was “not a conventional paedophile.”
Is there something about this case that means the legal system is treating it leniently, and the usual suspects aren’t bawling for the head of the judge who seems to be blaming the victim for leading him on?

Could be…
Turon Ali, of Station Road, Kennett, near Newmarket, was sentenced to a 12-month suspended prison sentence and a two-year supervision order for arranging to meet a 14-year-old girl at Ely Cathedral on February 5 last year.
Ali is 26, in case you were wondering…
The court heard that the 26-year-old had groomed the youngster – who cannot be named for legal reasons – with explicit texts, but she welcomed his advances. Her brother intervened and called the police, who prevented the meeting from taking place.
And arrested the offender. And that’s when it all went to hell…
Judge Gareth Hawkesworth, sentencing, said: “If you could you were going to meet her and if you could you would have engaged in some kind of sexual activity with her.

“It then became clear that she was sexually compliant and when you became aware of this lust took over.
Yes, he really couldn’t help himself, could he?
“You approached her on the basis that she was a member of the opposite sex and you would have your way with her if you could. You thought she was ‘easy meat’. You were thrust into a moral vacuum without a single care of what you might be doing.

“You are not a paedophile as such. You are simply a young man who was unable to control his sexual urges.”
It was probably the rays from her hair that did it, eh judge?

Why is this case not a cause celebre for the perpetually offended legions of womyn that take to the streets over other such legal screw-ups? I wonder...

How does that happen? I mean, wouldn't the signature be all scribbly, and unrecognisable as his own, if his hands were being guided by several burly probation officers as he kicked and screamed `she lied about how tall she was`?

Now if only the probation officers reports were available perhaps we could see the sense in all this.

  2. The judge knows Fuck all, obviously. Sex with a 14 y.o. is not peadophilia.

  3. Might surprise people to know that people in certain professions...notably teachers and doctors... aren't considered (legally) to be "conventional" paedophiles either yet their actions excite, encourage and fascillitate pre teens to engage in sexual activity.

Sex laws are complex but the simple fact is that the age of CONSENT is 16. Whether this girl is portrayed as gagging for it or not is irrelevant.

The guy was 26 and not legally entitled in any way to engage in any sexual activity of any description with her.

That makes him...by definition... a paedophile.

  4. Peadophilia is sex or fantasies of sex with pre-pubescent children.
