Perhaps This Is Why You Have ‘Difficult And Challenging’ Young People?

Samantha Pascoe, formerly employed by Neath Port Talbot Council in Neath's Hillside Secure Unit, is accused of breaching the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers by allegedly behaving inappropriately towards a 16-year-old in her care.
No, not another in the ongoing series of ‘Nuts who fall in lust with nuts’, for a change.
The opening day of the hearing, held at Swansea's Village Hotel, saw Mrs Pascoe face three charges relating to two separate dates, when it is alleged she shouted at A in a threatening and aggressive manner, used inappropriate language and locked him in a cupboard.
Ooooh, ‘inappropriate language’!
The first incident took place on or about February 13, 2010, when A was banging on the office window as the unit's staff changed shifts. Appearing as a witness fellow unit worker Deborah Morgan said of Mrs Pascoe: "Out of the blue she jumped up, opened the door and screamed at A, 'If you do that again I will cut your F****** legs off.' I was very shocked at Sam's actions. I had never heard anyone ever talk to a young person in the unit like that before."
Perhaps that’s the reason the little s**ts think they can do as they please without consequence?

  1. For years now we have followed the policy of leniency and caring towards those who have no respect for authority and the society we live in. As much as the aims of this policy are laudable they are not having any appreciable successful outcomes. It is obviously a waste of time, money and effort and is using resources that would be better utilised elsewhere such as the old (who are getting a very raw deal at the moment as the report into the NHS attests) and the disabled. Is it not time to call a halt to this policy in favour of one that only helps those who help themselves the rest being being treated as humanely as possible but very securely.

  2. I recommend that you read 'Generation F' by Winston Smith. He also has a blog.

One thing is for sure, after reading, it will make sure you never suffer from low blood pressure!!

  4. Ahhh .. the "inappropriate language" gambit, eh ?

Bit like the old Section 55 Army Act .. "Conduct prejudicial to good order and Military discipline" ..

If they can't get you for anything else, those are the ones to fall back on ..

  5. "As much as the aims of this policy are laudable they are not having any appreciable successful outcomes. "

Yet, despite our (supposed) change of government, and the awful tidal wave of human misery that the 'Guardian' is certain will sweep the land under another Tory government, we seem to be....well carrying on as before.

    Odd, that.

"If they can't get you for anything else, those are the ones to fall back on .."

Far more so these days, when that particular buffet table is now so rich.

Similar language going in the opposite direction is however, probably a daily, if not hourly, occurrance.
