This Isn't Just Any Rape Victim....

...this is a Marks & Spencer gang culture rape victim....

And so, according to the one-woman intellectual powerhouse that is Lynne Featherstone, deserving of a whopping £1.2mil of extra funding:
The government has announced £1.2m of funding to help girls involved with gangs who are raped by male members.
So, if you've just been raped by some guy who jumped out of the bushes, remember these words to get the extra help: 'posse' 'bruv' 'innit?' 'ends'...
Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone visited the Lilian Baylis Technology School in Kennington, south-west London, on Thursday.

Pupils at the school were learning about gangs and sexual violence.

Ms Featherstone said the violence girls and young women in gangs experienced was shocking.
They have a choice, though, oh she of little brain! The average real rape victim doesn't.

This is, of course, merely another job-creation scheme:
A network of 13 Young People's Advocates will work in areas most affected by gangs.

Ms Featherstone said the government fund would create a support network which would share information and best practice to make inroads into the "horrific issue".
Or you could just make the penalties for rape and for being in a gang a hell of a lot higher?

    Just a slight re-arrangement if you'll permit, Julia ?

Lynne Featherstone, Minister for "pandering to those who scare us fartless in case they take umbrage at being treated like everyone else and go on the rampage" ..

  2. In truth this is one of those 'initiatives' that magically dodges any dealing with the real problem.

As much as I hate to think of girls being raped by these gang members, I hate more the fact that our authorities have no power and even less will to deal with the root problem; the gangs themselves. These feral gangs are an out-of-control sub-human sub-culture whose sole ambition is crime and mayhem.

Stop them and you may just stop gang rapes.

  3. There's an elephant in the room here on this issue, especially with the school this pointless minister was visiting to make the point!

It'll never fit on one of those little desk plaque thingies...

"Stop them and you may just stop gang rapes."

It's amazing how government's usual desire to 'get to the source' seems to magically bend around the Impenetrable Forcefield of Political Correctness, isn't it?

"There's an elephant in the room here on this issue..."

Indeed. No-one wants to call attention to it, but it isn't going away.

  5. It is difficult to have a higher possible penalty.
The maximum penalty for rape (an offence where the victim is frequently male, which seems forgotten by crusading feminists) is life.

  6. The explanation for Lynn Featherstone:

she's one of the LDs whom Cameron relies on for reasons of him failing to win an election outright.

The LDs will have their seats collapse utterly in the next election; the only question is whether Labour will get those votes.

In the meantime they have to individually cultivate their constituencies in the hope of clinging to the wreckage after polling day.

Expect lots more newsgrabby things from them as they become ever more frantic.

  7. We have a government of limp wristed, bleeding heart idiots. It makes you dispair it really does. Firstly, wipe out (literally) these feral gangs. Make the penalty of gang rape very high (life with hard labour.........actuallY I would hang them but that might encourage scum to murder their victims).
