…not sure it means I’d do this though:
Michael Blacklidge, defending, said Whitehead had experience of working in pubs but no formal training.
“The way he dealt with people on this day clearly left something to be desired,” said Mr Blacklidge.
“Not surprisingly he is not pursuing a career in the licensed trade and has got himself a job as a metal fabricator.”
So, what did he do? Pour too much of a head into the glass? Fail to wipe the tables and bar properly?
Blackburn magistrates heard Harley Clayton Whitehead dragged one female drinker out of Hemingway’s, in Longridge, because she asked him to play a record from the film Grease.
And a man stood talking to his sister was asked, “What are you doing?” before he was punched from behind.
Ah. Right.
He was sentenced to three months in prison suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £100 compensation to Miss Lewis and Mr Cookson and £150 to Mr Young and £500 costs.
He was also made subject to community supervision for 12 months with attendance at an anger management programme.
Yes, he clearly needs it…
Ah now, If he had had some 'formal training' he'd have known that he was only supposed to throw smokers out and only punch people whilst wearing his high-viz jacket and H&S approved brass knuckle protectors.
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked at the poor showing by his solicitor though. Here we have a concerted attack by members of the Pink Ladies and the T-Birds and the poor lad (obviously a closet member of The Scorpions had to do something to defend his sisters honour didn't he? She was patently upset when the man told her 'Your the one that I want' and almost brought to tears by 'doo, doo ,doo').
'Harley Clayton Whitehead' is it just me or does this sound like a painful medical condition, perhaps that's why he's so angry. I believe the sisters name is Suzuki.
'You're the one that I want, oo-ooo-oo' is now ''You're the one that I punch, oo-ooo-oo'
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'll be here all week.
A good noose would assist in this case and solve the problem permanently.
ReplyDelete"'Harley Clayton Whitehead' is it just me or does this sound like a painful medical condition..."
ReplyDeleteIt really does!
"Thank you. I'll be here all week."
