Offered Without Comment...

During his sentencing he told Judge Simon Darwall-Smith: "You don't know what it is like to wake up on a slab in a mortuary."
Judge Darwall-Smith replied: "You cannot use that as an excuse forever."

  1. Maybe no comment here but the local rag's commentards are having none of it, except 'Maximus' below. His bleeding heart could kill him one day.

“Quite a staggering amount of hatred in these posts.

It would be interesting to see if the same views are held, if yourselves or someone close to you is struggling with an addiction to Heroin and is shot in the face.”

I'd like to know why the cross-eyed bugger who failed to do the job right, first time round, wasn't alongside him in the dock ?

Ranter should keep you company inside a coal-fired range of boiling pig fat. He will be assured of a permanent cure for those nagging ulcers whilst a good battering will offset your fishy odour.

  8. "Waking up in that mortuary took away his life.

Err no, it gave him his life back...literally.

  9. My interim hypothesis is that he's a zombie.

Most of the evidence fits; not dead in the mortuary incident, still taking the heroin, kept going even after being shot in the head.

However, he doesn't recognize his family. And there's also the photo.

    Godd Afternoon Ranter,

I normally defer to your impressive knowledge on all things medical but on this occasion you may have confused DNA sub-sequences with ECT.
And your seat of learning was?....Sorry, never heard of Craptown Secondary Modern Medical School, old chap.

    He must be a magistrate!

"I cannot understand how someone on heroin for 30 years is still alive."

Because it isn't the drug itself that's dangerous, but the infections from needle sharing or impurities?

Or maybe as WoaR points out, he's a zombie!
