Ms Locker said: "The children were dealt with immediately and now it is up to parents and police to decide how to deal with them.
"It's just a shame that a small number of children have brought the school into disrepute.
"They were told to leave almost as soon as they arrived, and their parents were informed.
"But they just ignored their parents' phone calls so not even the parents were able to get hold of them.
"It's very difficult when students turn up to school drunk.
"We need to ask how their parents have allowed them to turn up to school in that state."
Good luck with that, love...
Drunk at 8.30 in the morning? Maybe they were drunk from the night before, in which case, fair play that they got to school at all!
ReplyDeleteI see they turned up drunk after drinking alcohol. Who knew that was how it happens? The press is nothing if not educational these days.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of impressed by the hour too. Last day of school, wasted at that time of day, well - it saves time doesn't it? High jinks and bad form but understandable. It sounds like it was blatant and they buggered off to some poor bastard's house. Last day of school forgives a lot.
ReplyDeleteFair dos, but kids these days obviously can't hold their liquor if they're still visibly pissed after a night on the lash. At 15 we were much better at hiding hangovers than this lot.

ReplyDeleteIt does seem more likely.
"I see they turned up drunk after drinking alcohol. Who knew that was how it happens?"
Unless reporters aren't what they were (and there's lots of evidence for that), they should!
"Last day of school forgives a lot."
Oh, indeed! *remembers fondly*
"... kids these days obviously can't hold their liquor if they're still visibly pissed after a night on the lash. "
Lightweights!
I don't remember much of my last day at school ... for similar reasons.
ReplyDeleteXX a group of students were thrown out of school on their last day. XX
ReplyDeleteThats BOUND to teach them then!
Typical bloody miss goody two-shoes didn't start drinking until after they kicked us out on the last day. #fail
ReplyDeleteI recall one of my chemistry teachers in the 6th form telling us the story of a pupil coming up to her on a Monday morning, complaining of a hangover and asking to be excused. She replied that all the staff also had one so if they couldn't be then neither could he!
