Well, those slow-grinding wheels of justice finally creaked to life yesterday:
Bromley Youth Court heard the boy, from St Mary Cray, became angry after staff confiscated a coin which he was making a noise with by scraping it on his desk.
Nisha Dutt, prosecuting, said: "His behaviour escalated and included throwing a box in the classroom and upturning desks.
"Eventually he proceeded into the corridor and his behaviour continued by kicking and punching the walls and doors in the corridor."
When staff tried to take him back to the classroom he headbutted a teacher which resulted in her losing consciousness and suffering concussion.
Another teacher was kicked below the knee causing a "cracking noise" and fell to the ground "in a considerable amount of pain".
She later required an operation to reconstruct her knee, following the attacks on January 5.The 'Mail' has a little bit more detail - it's not his fault, of course!
The boy's tearful mother told the court that she did not agree with the court's decision.
She added: 'The only reason he pleaded guilty is because he did hurt them, but they caused the situation.
'He is not a bad kid so he won't be coming back to court regardless of being on probation.'See, if they'd just let him do as he pleased, it'd never have happened!
We can't know his name or any other details, of course, nor exactly what the '12 month referral order' really means, other than having to 'meet regularly with a youth offending team' (we don't even know if he's still at the school), but the judge did let something slip, almost entirely inadvertently, I'm sure:
District Judge Robert Ede said to the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons: "In this country from the age of 10, young people have to face up to the consequences of what they have done in a criminal court."Not really keeping up with the YONA rules, are you. Judge Ede?
The judge said 'you were hurt so you decided to hurt others', no he was just making a noise and they wouldn't let him carry on making a noise. Oh dear what a pity never mind. Now actually hurting him, like corporal punishment would be a good way of focusing the little twat's mind on the effect of his actions. Job done and one woman wouldn't have been head butted and the other wouldn't have needed constructive surgery on a knee.
ReplyDeleteFor Christ's sake what is wrong with the UK that this little toe rag can get away with seriously injuring some poor woman.
The natives are revolting, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThis is the sort pf enrichment teachers have been so ardently behind, let them embrace the challenges, manage the issues and follow their vision with passion.
No mention of his weeping father.
The indigenous denizens of The Crays are bad enough BUT to supplement them with imported human rubbish is so......CRAP!
ReplyDeleteHad the little bastard tried attacking a grown adult on the streets he would have been knocked out cold with one punch.
ReplyDeleteI LONG to see someone, ANYONE fight fire with fire, fight back hard and put these little shits in their place. Their breeders, too.
Were I the nearest and dearest of the assaulted teacher, I would hunt the scrote down like a dog. He would disappear without trace. However, she's probably 'in a relationship' with a bed wetting Guardian reader who thinks the thug needs sympathy and mentoring.

All the more reason that some surprise sex might help her a bit.
And him, too.
"He is not a bad kid"
ReplyDeleteBut clearly not a very good one either...

ReplyDeleteI can't for the life of me figure out why he reached for the phone to dial 911 afterwards...I'd have been hunting for the car keys and a shovel.

Hmm. I have heard the shitbag toe rag that called himself my Father use the phrase "In THIS house....", (and no, the shit head was NOT bollocking a visiting neighbour.) too often, to put any MONA meaning into it.
Although I would say ther is a 90% chance you are correct.
Boys used to learn to keep their aggression in check when we still allowed them to behave like boys and so learn to handle their male emotions/egos and strength, instead of forcing them to behave like girls.
ReplyDeleteThat kind of emotional neutering may well work to 'civilise' most boys, but at the outliers it produces angry, unbalanced humans that fight with the sly, tenacious ruthlessness of girls and the aggression, efficiency and power of boys.

ReplyDeleteKnow what I find fucking hilarious?
THESE bastards are going to be the ones working in the "care homes" when the arsehole teachers decide they can't heat up their own tofu any more. :-))))))

ReplyDelete'cos he's a victim too, you see. As anon points out, no mention of a father, either.

Sadly, Thursday's post went some way to explaining why that rarely happens, at least over here.
"I would say ther is a 90% chance you are correct."
As low as that? ;)
And I'd agree with you about the prospect of the liberals being hoist on their own petard, but I'll be there with them!
