Here We Go Again

The Little Black Gallery in Park Walk is displaying a series of photos called The Birthday Party featuring children, many topless.
By now, it ought to be obvious that children have joined a certain founder of Islam as being ‘things you make visual representations of only if your life insurance is up to date’!
Some of the street’s residents have complained to gallery staff about an image of a boy carrying a gun, a boy in his underwear carrying a boxing glove and a girl clutching dolls to her chest, left.
If they’d had one of a kiddiewink smoking too, the residents might have spontaneously combusted!
Resident Ann Nathan said: “The exhibition is distasteful, considering there are two schools and a church on the street. I don’t look up at the window when I walk past any more.” Her neighbour, who asked not to be identified, added: “The stuff they call art is semi-pornographic.”
Oh, how I’d love to have a look at any CCTV of Ann scurrying past the window, arm across her eyes like Count Dracula avoiding sunlight…
The prints by photographer Vee Speers are of the artist’s daughter and her friends. Ghislain Pascal, director and co-owner of the gallery, said: “I’m surprised by the reaction because these pictures are of boys and girls going to a birthday party in costume.
We have got to stop the idea that anything to do with images of children is to do with paedophilia — it is just not the case.”
You are quite right, Ghislain, but the mob has spoken!
In 2010 police advised the gallery to move an allegedly pornographic photograph by Bob Carlos Clarke from its window after complaints.
Let’s hope this time, if they turn up to give the same advice on behalf of these easily-spooked idiots, they are told to shove it where the sun don’t shine…

Oh aye? "Turns you on this kind of thing, does it? Might be worth taking a look at your "downloads" then, laddie!"

  2. Urm...taking your own photos of your own kids in a private, natural setting and looking at them yourself...or even showing a couple of friends, as you do...is something we all do.

Taking a singular photo of your own daughter and deliberately posing her unnaturally stood unsmiling and still, clutching toys across her bare chest, hair carefully brushed and teased into shape...then greyscaling the majority of the photo leaving her lips a sexually suggestive ruby red colour...then putting it out on public display. Nope, that's not what most people do.

There's a clear difference between the two.

Quite why anyone would want to indulge in the latter is beyond me...but then I'm not the arty-farty type and don't view my own daughter as openly accessible to the public or mine to do with as I please.

There's a few more issues on the go here than just Paedophilia, frankly.

  3. What Tatty Said.

I can't be the only one sick of smirking wannabe edgy arts ponces pushing this not-quite-porno garbage.

These guys want to stick it to The Man? I say: Mo' Toons or GTFO.

Get their addresses and send them some art like this. ;)

  7. These photo's have achieved exactly what the photographer intended them to; achieve notoriety whilst maintaining plausible deniability.

Why anyone would want to see pictures of someone else's children in the semi-buff, and even pay for the privilege, I just cannot fathom.

BTW Jaded appears to have been huffing CS gas, again.

Either that, or he's drunk on power.

    Just like Thief Constable Price.

    And Thief Constable Bettinson.

I've said it before, and I guarantee I'll have to say it again:

    Criminals in uniform.

(But special criminals though, the type that never face charges and retire with bank balance and massive pension intact.)

  8. PS Let's not forget everyone's favourite neighbourhood liar, race-monger and violent thug, Thief Constable Dizaei.

What about that Martin Richards,Thief Constable of Sussex?

    Covering up kiddy fiddling?

That other twat that at least had the sense to top himself, you know, the one that couldn't keep it in his pants? Michael Todd, that's the one. Thief Constable of Greater Manchester (though what's great about it remains to be seen).

I've got more if you want them. These are all recent, from the last couple of years or so. This is not a trawl through the archives, this is modern day policing, with utter fucking wankers at the very top.

Go on Jaded, defend the indefensible.

If you can't, you could just imply that I am thick, or a criminal.

    Again.

  10. Nearly everyone you mentioned deserves your scorn-the only exception being the one who killed himself. He was being hounded for some immature harrassment and didn't deserve to die.
I hope you trawl through other industries to find people at the top who have done wrong.Wouldn't want you to be a single issue ranter.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Jaded,

Would trawl other indusries if they had the actual power and the falsely assumed morality to utterly fuck up my life with their fake statements, falsified testimony and manufactured evidence, but as the MD of Vodafone cannot imprison me for life with an outrageous lie, I'll not bother.

Tony Melville seems to think the world owes him a living.

    Another cunt.

Hom many of your lot are involved with Saville cover-up!

Careful now, you may need to eat your words. If you do, be sure I'll be there to ram them in.

    Irritating, isn,t it?

    This 'truth' business, I mean?

  12. What about the album by one of the super groups in the early 1970's whose cover showed a pubescent girl, naked from the waist up witha model aeroplane? Would owning that album now get you sent down?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hey Jaded,

Michael Todd. Tenth percentile, was he? No psychological deficiencies, at all?

Just a regular guy. In charge of a para-military force. Who kills himself because all the lying and cheating was comong home to roost. And goodness knows what else.

Not lying and cheating to the distant proles, the criminals-yet-to-be-caught that are the public, but his nearest and dearest, his own flesh and blood.

    What a cunt.

Keep it in pants, else don't lecture me about morality.

  14. "Oh aye? "Turns you on this kind of thing, does it? Might be worth taking a look at your "downloads" then, laddie!""

What a splendid idea! Perhaps the police should hint just that to some frequent complainers..?

"There's a few more issues on the go here than just Paedophilia, frankly."

It might not be to your taste (or mine) but it's clear that if we accept these hysterical loon's description of it, we are playing into the hands of the NuPuritans.

You know, the sort that want to censor films that show violence and smoking 'for the chiiildreeen!'...

"These guys want to stick it to The Man? I say: Mo' Toons or GTFO."

    :D

"Get their addresses and send them some art like this. ;)"

    Heh!

  15. "These photo's have achieved exactly what the photographer intended them to; achieve notoriety whilst maintaining plausible deniability. "

Sure, it's 'shock art' and - as DJ points out - there are some subjects that are untouchable, making them hypocrites, but still...

My preference is for more freedom, not less.

"...but as the MD of Vodafone cannot imprison me for life with an outrageous lie, I'll not bother."

Hold that thought - it might not be long!

"Would owning that album now get you sent down?"

I wouldn't be at all surprised! You can, technically, find yourself in deep doodoo if you have an old, yellowing copy of 'The Sun' with Sam Fox on Page 3.

  17. The expression "your lot" sums up your problem. I am not "your lot",I am an individual working for a large organisation.A crime or error committed by another policeman does not mean we are all the same, but people like you want to lump as all together.
I am not personally responsible for anything these Chief Constables have done.My default position is that they are all politically-correct idiots. The person I would generally support is a PC who makes a slight error (or perceived error) under pressure and is lambasted by the press and on here.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Julia - "it's clear that if we accept these hysterical loon's description of it, we are playing into the hands of the NuPuritans.

Precisely why more people need to speak up to claim a middle ground and turn those arguements on their heads.

It's not defintively "paedophilic" or even "pornographic" but it IS wrong.

Perhaps we just need new words. After all, they make up enough of their own when it suits them.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Jaded,

Is killing someone a 'slight error'?

You defended that twat, so don't try and distance yourself now. Don't make me post links.

You are absolutely correct in one thing though (it's hard to be wrong everytime); I do view the police as a whole; you are Borg; you suffer from group-think, and act accordingly.

It's not your fault, I know. Just doing your job, eh?

    Like prostitutes.

    ReplyDelete
  20. That's the second time you have mentioned prostitutes,do I detect a theme? Can't see the link myself but please enlighten me.
I assume you are talking about the Tomlinson/Harwood case? Yes I did partly defend him,he was a PC under pressure and made a mistake.Let's not rehash the whole story again though.
I apologise for having a different opinion than you.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jaded,

You are making it worse. You didn't 'partly' defend, you whole-heartedly defended him, calling into question the morality of Tomlinson, just as you try to call into question mine, implying that we are/were criminals, therefore it doesn't matter if plod thrashes us to death.

I mention prostitutes because the analogy is apposite. You are willing to suspend your own conscience, in exchange for money, to do something that most people find abhorrent, then defend your lunacy by describing it as a job and implying that you have no other choice.

You repeatedly call killing someone a 'mistake'.

    What a cunt you are.

Coming up with the wrong answer after long division is a mistake.

Ordering beef when you meant lamb is a mistake.

    Killing someone is a crime.

But not for the police, obviously.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Stop swearing it's not big and it's not clever and no-one is impressed.

Two points-then i'm sick of trying to debate with you;Firstly most people do not see my job as abhorrent, most decent people that is.I know criminals hate me,as they should because it's up to ordinary people like me to stop them committing crime. You have mentioned that you are not a criminal and I have to take that on face value as I will never know for sure.
Secondly Harwood did not kill Tomlinson deliberately, that's why he was charged with manslaughter, and even then he was found not guilty. Not by me or you but by 12 independent citizens that heard the whole story.Unfortunately for you evidence is not admissable from sweary bloggers.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hey Nogging! You used to post some pertinent and sometimes amusing comments on here. Now you come across as a complete cunt! I don't mind swearing. You're the kind of fuckwit that cannot argue a point, Jaded is right, it is impossible to engage coherently with you. The majority of police federation members have no time for ranks above Chief Inspector. The behaviour of a corrupt little toad like Price does not mean that all police officers are corrupt little toads. As for Ali Dizaei - that is a completely different ball game. That corrupt third world piece of shit is linked to other equally corrupt fuckers throughout the legal and political world, linked by their third world heritage. As for the others you mention, well, they were caught weren't they? Argue by all means but have some credibility when you do otherwise you will be considered as credible as that other tiresome cunt MTG.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hey Jaded,

Fuck you. I'll swear all I like. You'll notice that my posts usually contain almost no swearing, I only use swear words to express outrage and disbelief, or to convey a sentiment most easily expressed in four letters.

The reason you are 'tired' of debating with me is because I constantly prove you to be a defender of thugs, an unthinking moron, who justifies his own arrogance, ignorance and brutality by claiming to be some kind of crime-fighting hero, whilst defending those who commit crime, just because they wear your colours, with the most inane of arguments. You have to smear and insinuate, as you have, yet again, that your opponent is either mentally or moraly deficient, calling into question his integrity simply because he questions your right as a policeman to beat people to death and then get off scot-free.

I called you a cunt because it is self evidently true. Stop being one and I'll stop calling you it.

BTW I came to my conclusions as to what happened to Tomlinson with the evidence of my own eyes. I can hear all the bullshit from mealy-mouthed lawyers you like, but that will never remove from my mind's eye the image of a fat, old, weak man, being struck around the legs with a baton, whilst walking away from your mob with his hands in his pockets, seconds left to live.

What is so appalling is not so much the manner of the man's death, but the justification of it by wankers like you.

    Anonymong,

Get a name, so then at least I know which twat you are.

  25. This all seems to hinge on what one would call art. "Virgin Killer" by "Skorpion" was classed as child porn for 24 hrs in 2009 until plod were told that as a RECORD ALBUM COVER one could buy it in a shop. Same goes for "Spirit of America". What is shocking? A young child topless, or "Piss Christ"? The EDL or murder cover ups? See you at the Free Masons Lodge...
