Actually, I Think It’s Unsuitable For Anyone’s Hearing…

The magistrates sent Truscott to the crown court on March 23, saying the case was unsuitable for summary hearing.
His crime? Well…
A man found naked in a field amongst cow dung and mud had been sexually pleasuring himself, a court has heard. It was the same farm he had returned to over a period of seven years.
Yes, and that’s not all he does…
The Roth family had suffered because of his behaviour, she went on, as it had affected their quality of life and their children who had been part of what was going on.
“The family have to regularly check their livestock, outbuildings and equipment, as he has masturbated in a muck spreader and set fire to outbuildings, killing livestock in frustration when they cleaned out their farm equipment in an attempt to stop him from this lewd and obscene habit.”
It appears not just any farm will do. He has a ‘thing’ for this particular farm.
His previous convictions included arson, burglary and harassment, and he had a caution for possession of extreme pornographic images in relation to animals.
He had breached the restraining order before, quite soon after it was made, and for which he was sent to prison.
If he cannot be sectioned and held in a mental institution, perhaps the Roth family might like to patrol with shotguns in future?

They’d be doing the county a favour if they mistook him for a burglar.

  1. There must be something that the 'Dung Wanker' could be charged with that will get into prison?

  2. I understand that 'care in the community' is the approved means of caring for the mantally ill, but surely there must be somewhere he can be kept until he's been treated?

  3. Bunny,

I loved the comments on the linked article, no he is not from Devon, this happened in Cornwall, nothing to do with Devon at all etc.

  4. I don't see the problem. He's clearly enjoying the great outdoors, getting plenty of fresh air and has become very familiar with the farm animals (literally). I'm sure some of them actually look forward to his little visits.

Seriously though, it is a bit weird. And I noticed that almost all the reports in the press state: "He was discovered on Saturday by a child of the family".

However, the prosecutor had this to say: Gareth Evans told the court Truscott’s latest crime was bravely foiled by the family’s teenage son and a pal.

Mr Evans said: “The Roth’s son - now 16 – and his friend went searching for Mr Truscott with a torch.

Yeah, night time, not the middle of the afternoon.

“They found the defendant in a field: he was hiding behind a hedge, naked except for one sock.

    Oh, I wonder...? Nah, nevermind.

“He was covered in cow excrement and mud and there were tissues littered around and in front of him.

“Those two young boys told him to sit against the hedge and not move, and Brandon rang his mother: she came out and very shortly afterwards police were called.”

    Afterwards?

Is it any wonder the foxes have moved into suburbia? It sounds a little too wild out in the countryside these days.

Sadly, he probably has one of those mental disorders considered 'untreatable', which means the medical profession washes it's hands of him.

And who wouldn't, knowing where he's been and what he's been doing?

    Indeed!

    He's a National Trust posterboy! ;)
