The 'Mail' Photo Editor, Folks! /Golfclap


Eagle-eyes readers will note that, despite the headline, not one of those vehicles is a 4x4.

Oh, except for the vehicle that the man whose car is stranded in the bottom-right picture is being helped into - that's a Land Rover.

    I'm no expert on cars, but one of those vehicles looks suspiciously lacking in four of anything ... :)

    There's something in this though. US police hate 4x4s because their owners think they're invincible and can drive over snowdrifts. Not having anti-gravity, they can't and the plods have to dig them out.

    Leaving aside those who may have purchased a 4x4 to go rock scaling, mud bogging and driving in the Paris-to-Dakar rally or Oz outback, 4x4 owners don't think.
