So....Whodunnit?

I'm talking, of course, about 'Mayday' the BBC's new drama serial about the disappearance of a 14 year old girl in a little Dorking village, played out for five consecutive nights - the first episode premiered last night, and I'm hooked!

It reminds me a lot of 'Twin Peaks'. And seems to contain all the usual topical devils for the BBC.

Will it turn out to be Peter Firth's angry, thwarted property developer?

Will the finger point to Sophie Okonedo's ex-cop turned mother?

Will it be Sam Spruell's 'care in the community' nutter in the woods?

Well...they haven't found a body, yet. So...could the BBC be selling everyone a dummy, and it'll turn out to be the owner of Mustapha Kebabs?

Have they searched the lofts in the near by properties yet?

Actually, a line from the distraught father went something along the lines of 'The police think she's in the house - they keep looking in the loft!'

    Heh!
