I Wonder If Liverpool Council Is ‘Prepared To Face The Consequences’..?

The brother of a Liverpool pensioner mauled to death by a crazed dog is to take legal action – arguing dog wardens failed to act quickly enough to protect him.
Kenny Clarke is taking the action after a terrified gran said she was told council wardens were too busy to help one hour before his brother Clifford was attacked in Clubmoor in May.
Oh, and it's not just another example of public sector laziness...
Mrs Hagan was astonished when the call operator suggested midnight as the earliest possible response to her plea and asked her if she was prepared to ‘face the consequences’ from the potentially-angry owners if the dogs were impounded.
Wha..?

How would the owner ever know, unless the council helpline monkey told them?
Police confirmed the animals were bull mastiff crossed with either a Presa Canario or a bandog, which are not banned breeds. The owners, two women aged 27 and 28, remain on police bail after they were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
And once again we see the utter futility of breed-specific legislation...
