A vulnerable woman who had a sexual encounter with a Bromley police officer after being beaten up by her boyfriend is suing the Met Police.Because, hey, the boyfriend’s not got any money. But the Met’s got lots – or rather, the taxpayer’s got lots!
The court heard how she was seeking £4,730 to £15,400, plus a further £11,000, if it is found that the claimant did not have a capacity to consent to the sexual activity.
Ruth Brander, for the woman, said: “The claimant claims damages, including aggravated and exemplary damages, in respect of misfeasance.”
She said the Met Police commissioner was liable after Formby “abused his position of trust as a police officer by engaging in sexual activity with her whilst he was on-duty as a uniformed police officer”.There are no words…
Oh, wait! There are - 6600 of them.
"It is certainly not commonplace for a woman to throw herself at a man she has just met."I don't think Judge Bailey moves in the same circles as women like this one, do you?
"The woman, who cannot be named ... "
ReplyDeleteOh ... colour me gobsmacked!
“The claimant claims damages, including aggravated and exemplary damages, in respect of misfeasance.”
Really? I doubt she even knows what "misfeasance" is but .. "where there's blame"
It sounds as if she'd decided that doing a sex act on him and then suing would be a good source of revenue.

ReplyDelete'Did not have the capacity' does not sound like he sexually assaulted a woman with obvious learning difficulties, she has learnt that she can sue people if she acts like a slut.
A story which leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
ReplyDeletePenseivat
Blown out of all proportion I reckon
ReplyDeleteCome on Melvin, this is an open goal!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought this story would feature here Julia. I know the ins and outs to coin a phrase. The PC was an idiot but does she really deserve the money for a consensual act? Every time she has sex whilst drunk is it really worth thousands of pounds?
On a wider point, how many politicians caught shagging on duty get prosecuted and receive a criminal record? Yes i'm talking about you Major,Currie, Prescott,Ashdown etc etc.Double standards.
Jaded
XX the claimant did not have a capacity to consent to the sexual activity. XX
ReplyDeleteBut she has enough brains to brief a solicitor to this extent?
Double standards indeed. The worst example being, at this time, the fraudster Maria Miller!
ReplyDeleteShe should be in Holloway not the House of Commons. That place really is full of sleazy, perverted, corrupt scum.

ReplyDeleteMy abstention from a debate as to whether politicians are more dissolute and morally bankrupt than plod, arises through the sheer magnitude of offensive evidence.
Analogous to a good faith that we have sewage works without the confirmatory immersion.
SPEAK ENGLISH MELVIN - YOU VERBOSE TWAT!

ReplyDelete"Really? I doubt she even knows what "misfeasance" is but .. "where there's blame""
