I fully support your argument that love is the highest form of flattery, Ranter.
Having said that, owning a dog in the sense which led to your criminal conviction, calls for counselling and psychological expertise which I do not possess. I do hope the fact you are ex police had no influence on the magistrates' failure to mandate these therapies.
