Your Portfolio Doesn’t Stretch That Far, Andrew…

Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson has called for a ‘full, independent inquiry’ into clashes between police and protesters
In Pendle? Blimey, I missed that..!
… in Lahore that has left eight people dead.
Errr…
Mr Stephenson was invited to Friday prayers last week at the Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran Mosque, in Brunswick Street, Nelson, to talk about the incident.
That’s nice. Are there any other ‘communities’ that would like to invite an MP to take up foreign issues with the PM, I wonder?

  1. And what exactly was he doing in a mosque on a Friday? Obviously not looking after his constituency!

  2. And everyone knows what enthusiastic Conservative supporters the Pakistanis are.

Why is he wasting his time - or to be more precise, our time, as we're paying for it - giving lip service to a depraved, worthless third-world slum like Pakistan?

I sleep better at night with fewer Pakistanis around.

  3. If they are that concerned about events in Lahore then why don't they pop back and sort them out? And stay.
And take this pandering MP with them.

Just shows what extraordinary lengths Conservative MPs will go to grab every last vote. Maybe those nice UKIP people are forcing them to do this.
