One woman, from a neighbouring street, said there had been problems with the dog before.
She said: “A couple of years ago the dog killed a cat and it has attacked another dog and its owner before now.
“Nothing was done about it before and some of the neighbours are terrified of it.”
I bet the owner’s
brother is wishing someone had done something. Since he was its next victim:
Residents on Tatton Road in Orrell Park said the 52-year-old man was walking the Shar Pei dog at about 9pm yesterday when it attacked him, biting him on the shin and arms.
One resident said: “It’s his sister’s dog and he’s walking it while she is on holiday.
“He dropped the lead and was running after the dog trying to catch it when he fell.
“I don’t know if he tried to grab the dog or something but it turned on him.”
Necessitating a call out to the emergency services, and to the council cleaning team to wash the blood off the pavement!
A police spokesman said: “Officers will be speaking to the owner of the dog on her return from holiday.”
Perhaps if they’d done that
before…?
Hmmm. Shoot the dog or shoot the owner? Tricky one, that.
ReplyDeleteAn in-law is a cop in Canberra - when he was once threatened by a domestic dog when going up to the front door, he just drew his gun and shot it dead! Big thumbs-up from me!

There IS a version, used by the German equivalent of Rugby clubs.
Only ever heard it two or three times, but it exists. :-D

ReplyDelete"Ihren Träumen," Trottel.
So ein Arschlöch dürfen mir NICHT "Duzen."
Righwinggit, as far as I can find it is not recorded. As I said it is a "Cluib" song.
I will ask around if anyone has a text, or if it even HAS a written text.
As with rugby clubs, they often have their own script.

ReplyDeleteIt scans though!
