  1. After thirty years of banking with RBS as a model of solvency they reduced me over three days to detailed homicidal fantasies. The management got cloned at the same charm school they send selfservice checkouts to. They were unapologetically utterly incompetent. I moved to first direct and they were a dream: intelligent life on the other end of the phone, no smartphone necessary and convincingly pleasant to talk to.
