Sounds Like There Were Bits Of Barry Missing Too...

Recording an open verdict, coroner Caroline Beesley-Murray said there were “bits of the jigsaw missing” in the evidence.
Does that name seem familiar? It should...
Since Mr Walsh and the dog were alone in the room at the time, she had no choice but to record the open verdict.
She added “We will never, ever, know or ever be entirely clear what happened.
“He was clearly much loved and it’s good to see all his family members here at the inquest.
“I hope you will be able to look back on the happy memories you have of him.”
The family members clearly weren't impressed with the performance of Essex Police, though:
...all were visibly upset by Purdey Clarke’s evidence, and frustrated at the way her story changed.
When coroner invited the family to question Det Supt Lucy Morris one relative asked: “She made a call to someone in a pub after it happened. Who would ring somebody else first before the ambulance?”
I think we all know who....

  1. Fortunately, dog attacks featuring ruptured spleen syndrome, are less common in adult males than spontaneous cocktails of stomach arsenic/rat poison.

Can't see where it says that, another weak link Julia. They were probably unimpressed by the lying scumbag of a girlfriend.Unfortunately we can't waterboard people until we get the answers we want.

Aah, the challenge of plodSpeak in the morning! Waterboarding would put plod at risk of getting splashed with the stuff, Jaded. Perhaps incompetent idiots are tempted to supplement cell beatings, electroshock, cell rape and stair 'falls', with waterboarding.

Unless Essex forensic officers are as hopelessly incompetent as the rest of the Essex Police farce, I think that's unlikely...

Jaded, as today's 'Mail' shows, you don't need to.

However, even then, you drop the ball in spectacular fashion.
