When I worked in the print we were macked up to the eyeballs by the late 1980s. Being there at that time gave me some sort of reputation as a computer whiz. To this day I praise the Lord for Bill Gates and his clunky windows for giving me an escape button: "nah mate, don't do that OS", which kept me out of mischief. Designers design, systems men do systems, glaziers do windows.
"The very dumb and the very smart should leave computers, well alone."
I rarely meddle with software, and leave hardware up to my brother. I'll leave it to you to decide which category I fall into... ;)

I suspect one of the main reasons for the rise in popularity of tablets is just this factor.
The very dumb and the very smart should leave computers, well alone. For the good of humanity and for their own personal, residual sanity.
