Suffolk police said the sentence was "disappointing".
Inspector David Giles, from the roads policing unit, said: "I don't think it is enough at all. I'm really disappointed frankly.
"It's not a real incentive to stick within the speed limit, in my opinion."...he'll be busted down to PC for daring to criticise our glorious justice system!

Inspector (Superintendent Designate) Giles has also sparked a County manhunt for two men who floored a Suffolk pensioner with a stun gun. One of the attackers broke three of the the pensioner's ribs by dropping on one knee and crushing the victim's chest. An accomplice shouted obscenities whilst kicking the poor man in the groin. Assistant Chief Constable Giles stated "These wanted men thoroughly deserve all that was coming to them for impersonating policemen."
ReplyDeleteBusted justice system more like. Like all the other public bodies. Over time they have been moulded and shaped to enrich those who work in them or can feed off them. They ensure generous salaries, fees, pensions, privileges and cronyism. The larger the state and the more roles and powers it takes unto itself the more the opportunities arise for some(growing in numbers) to milk the system which can be done with relative impunity. Monopolies as most government and public bodies are have few mechanism in which their greed can be restrained, their incompetence and inefficiencies can be punished.
ReplyDeleteNaah, you know the rules: drivers are class enemies, particularly as many of them are traveling round doing some kind of 'job'. Hence why you never hear of the Filth meeting with members of the motoring community, or Chief Inspectors taking time to reach out to members of the Sales Manager community. Ergo, it's perfectly justified to denounce reactionary elements in the judiciary who fail to wage war on these people with the correct level of revolutionary fervor.
ReplyDeleteHe'll be charged with "Exhibiting common sense whilst in public office" - a hanging offence for some decades, now.
ReplyDeleteTed,
ReplyDeleteGive it time.
As there are no motorways in Suffolk he seems to have created a good advert as a mechanic.

ReplyDeleteTurning it round is a more impossible job than cleaning the Augean stables. And we're sorely lacking a Hercules or two...

Good point!
