Yeah, They Were Pretty Awful...

...apart from 'Mulder And Scully', that was quite catchy.

  1. Every day someone or even a whole batch of someones make demands for sympathy and resources for some perceived good cause(s). None of these someones appear to understand that resources are finite and magic money trees are not real despite lefties insistence that they are. These someones also are under the illusion that what free market capitalism does not provide then the state will. What these lobotomised individuals fail grasp is that which the state does provide is from the wealth that free market capitalism creates. They further fail to grasp that the more they demand and the more the state obliges them the more the state has to take from wealth creators.

This in the end leads to the wealth creators stopping creating wealth as there are too many obstacles and lack of incentives to do so. To overcome that difficulty sometimes the state makes an attempt to become the wealth creators and finds that in fact they are not very good at it. So what started out as state largess turns into state paucity with less available than was the case when just free market capitalism was the provider.

  3. I have OCD. Trouble is, it ends after a couple of days and then it's a new one.

  4. Catatonia? Pah!
A couple of weeks ago, I saw a tweet from the local ambulance service, saying they'd been called out to someone suffering an "allergic reaction to sting".

Some people's ambition seems to be to live their lives in the media...

"...been called out to someone suffering an "allergic reaction to sting"."
