...better
not ask a policeman:
At the meeting it was revealed police have paid the businesswoman more than £10,000 after twice closing her premises in error.
She was paid the compensation after officers closed the club early in both 2006 and 2007.
It is understood the two early closures were not to do with crime and disorder and instead a mistake made by officers regarding the changing of the clocks.
Nor are they the only organs of the State to prove less than competent...
Mrs Newton-Turner ... also voiced her disappointment at what she described as "more than a blunder" by Ms Caulfield MP's office. A letter intended for aggrieved residents was addressed and delivered to her husband.
*rolls eyes*
It's a super-moon tonight Julia. Posting something like this is entrapment for your blogs resident nutter.

As we are all finding out to our cost that although incompetence is endemic in society, not just ours but all(some many times worse), it is most virulent in government and it's agencies; NHS, Police service, justice system CPS, quangos of all sorts and the like. Yet we do not appear to care much as when their incompetence leads us to suffer in some way we insist on more government to alleviate that suffering. Thus ensuring that more incompetents are put in place to do us even more harm. One day when the pain becomes too much we will do away with those who cause it.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we will then probably replace them with those who are even worse or at least no better. Not necessarily of course. Absolute monarchs and their attendant barons were replaced by parliament which was an improvement on what was before. It and government's dictatorial ways replacement is now well overdue. Our fault of course as we gave away too much of our power and abrogated our personal responsibility and self reliance to them. Time to take it all back and govern from the bottom up instructing those above to implement our wishes not theirs. The type of institution we need to construct for that to be possible eludes me. However I put my faith in the real experts, not the current ones or ideologists of the left(the right do not have any) who tell us they know best, the people to come up with the design.
Your endoscope examination proffers good and bad news, Jaded. The good news is that your brain was finally located. Unfortunately, it's full of shit.
ReplyDeleteJaded. One persons nutter is another persons genius. A Psychiatrist would be needed to help determine in which category the person resides. Even then it would be clouded by the fact a nutter can also be a genius. In some instances the dividing line between them is very fine or intertwined. Character assassination is easy any dim wit can do it. So unless you can point to evidence that backs up your claim then it is very likely that you will be considered the nutter.
ReplyDeleteAntisthenes-you may be correct.......i'm sitting here typing with my underpants on my head and a pencil up each nostril
ReplyDeleteJaded
Jaded that certainly rules you out of the genius category. Geniuses use pencils to solve problems not to block their airways. I suggest an immediate medical check up to ascertain whether you are just eccentric, mad as hatter or your brain is full of shit as the other anonymous suggests it is. Though underpants on your head could just suggest you are a pervert or you never got the hang of potty training. Unhealthy mental conditions in themselves.
ReplyDeleteWe all knew that the Blackadder character was feigning madness; his originality making the scene very funny, WC Jaded. Such plagiarism, like your 'inglish', is just annoyingly pathetic.
ReplyDeleteOne day late Melvin. The super-moon was yesterday.Keep howling at it anyway just in case it comes back soon.

Your cerebral hydrotherapy is overdue, Jaded. Just plug one end of the Kärcher pressure washer into your anus and press the green button, dear.
ReplyDeleteNo...not the 13 amp plug, you idiot!
ReplyDeleteDidn't the jet washer get stolen with your lawnmower Melvin? Or was this when you "caught a burglar"?
ReplyDeleteJaded
Oh look, Jaded. The Daily Mail has (for the umpteenth time) deleted your comments on consecutive days. Let us hope that you didn't waste 'to' much time assembling another confusing array of words.

" Our fault of course as we gave away too much of our power and abrogated our personal responsibility and self reliance to them."
