A vulnerable woman held a kitchen knife to her care worker’s throat...
Wait, which one's 'vulnerable' here..?!?

Then why bother with a trial?
Recorder Hawks sentenced her to a two year supervision order, calling it “an unpleasant and terrifying incident”.
He told Longbottom: “Nothing is going to happen to you. You will be going back to the address where you live.”

Imprisonment of felons has lost its meaning. Prison is not for punishment, it is not for correction. Prison is there to remove those people who cannot or will not live by our rules of behaviour. Whether a person has a diagnosed illness or not, if they can't be trusted to live among us they should not be free to roam around.
