...at least, according to the 'Mail', where avalanches can travel all the way through Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.

Or are they just missing a comma?

    The plural form of verbs also seems to confuse them or is it just a stray "Grocer's 's'" that the avalanche has pushed onto the noun (btw what is the collective noun for 'snowboarders' a 'policyexemption' perhaps?)?
