I think Theresa May has done the job as best as she can. There was little support from the public and her own party when she came to number 10. I don't think people have forgiven her over her time as Home Secretary, when she crucified the police system. It's all Inspector Gadgets fault.
I think more blame can be put on the Parliamentary Conservative party for ensuring that a mediocre Remainer was the only candidate left standing so that the Conservative membership would not get a chance to vote. Good chance of the same nonsense being repeated.
