Who Could Have Predicted This? Pt 78924893256987412

Yeah, that's right. Everyone. As usual:

“Some are ongoing neighbour disputes and nothing to do with coronavirus. People have had pops at each other and are using this as an opportunity to try to cause more grief and get officers around to their address,” said a senior police source, who asked for their force not to be named.
This development has prompted the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) to urge the public to “exercise common sense and only report well-meaning concerns”.
We've seen how the police themselves 'exercise common sense', haven't we?
The police’s professional standards body, the College of Policing, which along with the NPCC drew up last week’s updated guidance on how to enforce the lockdown, echoed the concerns. “Deliberate false reporting, obstruction or misinformation at a time of crisis helps nobody, and risks public safety. In those cases police will use their discretion in determining whether enforcement action is appropriate,” it said.
We've seen how the police 'use their discretion', haven't we?

You would think that that guy would be fired wouldn't you? I mean, he could be in the habit of making stuff up, how many other people has he made stuff up about?

  2. Yep, people wouldn't do it if it didn't work.

Meanwhile, the filth ignore real crimes all the time. When the police ignore shoplifters but break down your door based on nothing more than the say so of your loony neighbour, they're telling us who they are and who they see as their real enemy.

  3. You become aware that plod are totally out of control when even government Ministers fear being framed and discredited by a federation which has no more scruples than the very worst underworld gang.

  4. Reminds me of the French reign of terror when "to be denounced is to be guilty" was the order of the day. Oh sorry I forgot, here we police by concent so that's alright then.

  5. Every person who has ever been charged and found guilty as a result of being arrested or summonsed by that oaf must be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of all that compensation from claimed wrongful arrests. 'Summarily Dismissed' is the only, and correct decision by any disciplinary board, and I say that as an ex Copper.

I fervently hope he is. Pour encourager les autres.

"...they're telling us who they are and who they see as their real enemy."

I think this pandemic has seen the scales fall from a lot more eyes.

The problem is, what can anyone do about it? Voting sure ain't getting it done!

    Heh! Once, maybe.

"...must be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of all that compensation from claimed wrongful arrests."

Which we, the taxpayer, will be on the hook for!
