A spokeswoman for Bark n Fly told the Daily Record: “We can confirm that on Friday, September 25, there was an incident involving an altercation between two dogs which was witnessed by a member of our team who is a retired Police Officer.
“Coincidentally, also the owner of the dog that was injured.”
Well, I never!
“A full incident report and witness statement has been completed and the incident has now been reported to Police Scotland and to the local Dog Warden.”
Oh, really?
The Daily Record approached Police Scotland for comment but were told no report could be found.
Well, I suppose they could have lost it. In a ditch somewhere.
Lewis says he was 'not surprised' by the behaviour of the kennel towards Gosia. He told the Record:
“I was quite shocked but sadly not surprised to hear about the incident with Dash at Bark n Fly.
“This is yet another incident in an area not covered by CCTV and further evidence of lack of controls and supervision.”
One to watch!
"A retired police officer, coincidentally, also the owner of the dog that was injured..."
ReplyDeleteNobody could doubt the veracity of an account made up by a professional truth-telling witness...oh, wait...
"no report could be found."
ReplyDeleteMaybe the dog ate it?
Wow they still have dog wardens in Scotland. I haven't seen ours for over 5 years and guess she has been a victim of Council cutbacks. Our Council tax goes up every year and every year the services gets worse. It's unbelievable that the people continue to vote for the same party even in the face of endless reports of inquiries and gaging orders paid for with undisclosed amounts of our money.

ReplyDeleteSNORK!
"Wow they still have dog wardens in Scotland. I haven't seen ours for over 5 years..."
Well, since the police will do their level best to shuffle off any dog-related crime to them, even one clearly falling under the beefed-up DDA that they lobbied for, perhaps they are all far too busy?
"It's unbelievable that the people continue to vote for the same party ..."
There's really very little between them all at this point, is there?
