Words like 'In Self Defence'. Or 'Who Attacked Him'...
The jury in Kenosha returned to the courtroom early on Friday afternoon on the fourth day of its deliberations, after indicating that they had reached a unanimous verdict.
You can't say they reached a hasty decision, can you? But they clearly reached the right one...
A turning point in the trial came when Grosskreutz testified for the prosecution but admitted that he pointed a gun at Rittenhouse before the 17-year-old fired his rifle, hitting him in the arm. Others testified that Rittenhouse was pursued by the men he shot dead and the teenager, who testified in his own defence, told the jury he was in fear of his life when he fired his gun.
The prosecution's witnesses turned out to be their downfall, as so often happens in politically-motivated trials. I wonder how that could have hap...
Oh. Never mind.
“The verdict in the #KyleRittenhouse case is a travesty and fails to deliver justice on behalf of those who lost their lives as they peacefully assembled to protest against police brutality and violence,” tweeted the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) civil rights group.
If they really had 'peacefully protested' no-one would have been shot, would they?

ReplyDeleteThis is a travesty. He should never have been on trial in the first place. But we all know the process is the punishment.
ReplyDeleteNo right minded person would not have reached a self defence verdict after seeing the evidence. Why it took 4 days is beyond me. Perhaps they were planning where they were going to move to and avoid the mob.
America has been screwed. Perhaps what has been going on here will have opened a few more eyes on the Dimocrat side.
Rittenhouse is going to be spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing which MSM outlet to sue for libel isn't he? There has just been such a wall of lies and half truths that it will be hard to know where to start.
ReplyDeleteSomeone posted on another site- "it's amazing that you can shoot three people at random at a BLM protest and all three are convicted criminals".
ReplyDeleteThe odds are extremely high I would guess.

ReplyDeleteI'm not replacing my Irony Meter, it's just not worth it these days!
"This is a travesty. He should never have been on trial in the first place. But we all know the process is the punishment."
Correct! But I hope now he has the stomach for the fight to take all the lib braodcasters and pundits who slandered him to the cleaners.
"There has just been such a wall of lies and half truths that it will be hard to know where to start."
I'm sure some real big sharks in suits have already picked their choicest cuts!
"The odds are extremely high I would guess."
Spot on!
