Sorry, You're Too Late For April Fool's Day...

Oh, wait. It's real!
Traditional aerosol spray inhalers are in the firing line after they were found to be between 1,000 and 3,000 times more potent at warming the planet than carbon dioxide - with the SNP now proposing a switch to dry powder inhalers instead.

The only reason to switch a medication should be a medical necessity for the good of the patient at the behest of their doctors. Not the bonkers demands of people in thrall to the Green industry.

  1. Well, there' be less carbon dioxide emitted if all asthma sufferers pegged out.

    Fuck off green bastards.

  2. What quantities of this super potent greenhouse gas are entering the atmosphere compared to the amount of CO2 from fossil fuels? The amounts must be negligible and only a complete imbecile would expect them to have any noticeable effect.

  3. Stonyground the CO2 from fossil fuels is eclipsed by the CO2 emitted by volcanoes and the oceans. The other thing the green ecoloons forget is that water vapour is a much better greenhouse gas than CO2.

  4. I already knew about this as my GP was considering changing mine, but as I use one of those expanders to dissipate the spray before inhaling (don't know the the damned thing is actually called) a powder inhaler was deemed unsuitable.

The amounts aren't the issue for politicians. It's the idea that they are 'doing something' that's uppermost in what passes for their minds...

You're being far too generous in thinking they forget it.

Glad to hear that, in this case at least, common sense and medical necessity prevailed!
